Tenet Healthcare and USPI Join Forces with AAOS for Launchpad Program

In a remarkable initiative set to reshape the landscape of orthopedic education, Tenet Healthcare and United Surgical Partners International (USPI) have been named foundational sponsors of the inaugural AAOS Launchpad Program. Announced by the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), this program aims to support postgraduate year 5 (PGY5) orthopedic surgery residents as they transition from residency to active practice.

A New Era for Orthopedic Training

The AAOS Launchpad Program is designed to span 20 months, during which PGY5 residents will receive essential tools, mentoring, and resources crucial for their professional growth. This initiative will guide participants as they navigate fellowship opportunities and prepare for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery examinations, ensuring they are well-equipped for long-term success in their careers.

Anthony Priore, the Chief Marketing, Communications, and Membership Officer at AAOS, expressed enthusiasm for the sponsorship.
