GENIXGREEN Unveils Innovative Energy Storage Solutions in South Africa, Empowering Southern and East Africa

GENIXGREEN Launches High-Voltage Energy Storage Solutions in South Africa

On March 19, 2026, GENIXGREEN, a renowned player in the energy storage industry, successfully launched its latest range of high-voltage storage systems in Johannesburg, South Africa. This initiative aims to tackle the region-specific challenges faced due to soaring electricity costs, grid instability, and repetitive load shedding that has plagued the area for years.

According to the South African Reserve Bank, an alarming prediction from early 2025 indicated that ongoing power rationing could lead to daily economic losses that could reach up to 899 million rand (approximately US $49 million). Understanding this pressing crisis, GENIXGREEN has introduced a versatile collection of scalable and dependable storage solutions, aimed at transforming these challenges into manageable opportunities.

At the core of this launch event was the introduction of the revolutionary HV-BOX5-768, a stackable energy solution with specifications that include a flexible 51.2V/314Ah framework equipped with smart Battery Management Systems (BMS), a 2-amp active balance, and the capability of parallel expansion, accommodating up to six clusters. Additionally, they showcased the Tower-HV series, designed specifically for large-scale projects, featuring configurations of 768V and 1331V batteries, cutting-edge smart 3-level BMS, and precision monitoring to within 1% accuracy. These solutions are particularly suitable for industrial settings, from mining operations to manufacturing facilities and containerized storage systems.

Also featured was the Tower-X-HV model, appropriate for residential and large commercial applications, alongside an all-in-one outdoor cabinet designed for medium commercial usage, and the fully integrated Magic series dedicated to outdoor applications, ensuring that the needs of various sectors are met effectively.

GENIXGREEN aims to substantially elevate its market presence in Africa through a formidable partnership with two industry leaders: CNBM and Megarevo. CNBM's extensive local distribution network will facilitate smooth logistics and comprehensive post-sale support, while Megarevo's inverters perfectly complement GENIXGREEN's battery systems, forming a reliable partnership already proven effective in over 650 projects globally. Deployments span diverse applications, from carton production facilities to medical universities, confirming the cost-effectiveness and reliability of these energy storage solutions.

To bolster its operational capabilities, GENIXGREEN has assembled a robust local infrastructure that includes over twenty overseas warehouses, a commitment to 24/7 service, and a dynamic service model termed “2M+4S,” which offers a two-hour quick response and guarantees on-site arrival within 24 hours. Looking forward to 2026, the organization plans to expand its local engineering workforce and locate regional spare parts centers while further enhancing partner training in collaboration with CNBM.

Victor Zhou, CEO of GENIXGREEN, emphasized the company's mission: “We are not limited to mere transactions; we are dedicated to providing sustainable power solutions backed by established partnerships. Every customer from South Africa to Madagascar deserves top-tier products, service, and support. United with CNBM and Megarevo, we are fully prepared to illuminate the energy future of Southern and East Africa.”

With GENIXGREEN’s compelling range of innovative energy storage products, there is significant hope for enhanced energy management across Southern and East Africa, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future.
