The 2025 Global Entrepreneurship and Technology Forum, commonly referred to as the GET Forum, is set to take place in San Salvador, El Salvador, from November 30 to December 2. Organized by the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group), this event seeks to engage a diverse range of participants, including global investors, startup executives, policymakers, and industry experts.

Embracing Entrepreneurial Ecosystems

The theme of this year’s forum revolves around economic opportunities, focusing on talent development, encouraging investment and venture capital, and promoting policy initiatives conducive to innovation and growth. The collaboration among the IDB Group, the government of El Salvador, and the Agrisal Group, along with the support of over 30 sponsoring partners, illustrates a strong commitment to enhancing entrepreneurial ecosystems throughout the region.

César Buenadicha, Deputy Chief of the Ecosystem Building and Acceleration Department at IDB Lab, emphasizes the event's value in connecting the region with the global market, fostering business opportunities, and facilitating knowledge exchange among participants. This comprehensive approach aims to stimulate investments into innovative solutions that address critical developmental challenges faced by the region, thereby enhancing economic resilience and sustainability.

Forum Agenda and Activities

Day one will kick off with the GET Forum Innovation Village, located at Cuscatlán Park, where attendees can immerse themselves in interactive learning experiences. This space will serve as an open classroom where participants can experiment with emerging technologies, glean inspiration from entrepreneurial stories, and engage in dialogue about innovative ideas.

On December 1 and 2, the high-profile conference will be held at the Hilton San Salvador Hotel, featuring plenary sessions, interactive panels, workshops focused on applied knowledge, startup pitches, and dedicated networking opportunities. The event is expected to host over 130 speakers from more than 25 countries, including renowned figures in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Among the highlighted speakers are Andrés Bilbao, Eric Acher, and Siim Sikkut, who will share their insights and experiences, fostering discussions that bridge the gap between public and private sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Building Bridges for Innovation
