The Study Abroad Festival 2025 is scheduled for August 9-10, held in Minato City, Tokyo, and online. This event is organized by SmiRing Ryugaku, a public interest incorporated association run by current international students, aiming to help young people with aspirations for studying abroad take the next step toward their dreams. With a lineup featuring nine next-generation influencers and various scholarship organizations, this festival is all set to inspire future study abroad candidates!

Exciting Guest Speakers


This year, the festival showcases an incredible group of influencers whose combined social media following exceeds 160,000! Attendees will hear real-life experiences and insights into the study abroad journey from our esteemed guests:
  • - Nagato (IG: @nagato_vlog) – A graduate who transitioned from a foreign company to entrepreneurship, sharing the essential mindset for today’s students.
  • - Louis (IG: @louis.award) – A student at a Parisian university, discussing his daily life and activities in France while inspiring participants to transform their perspectives.
  • - Yasugin (IG: @yasgin_english) – An English-speaking student who provides insight into effective methods for studying the language in the U.S.
  • - Ryoga (IG: @ryogabroad) – Founder of 52Hz and a student at Minerva University, revealing his experiences while traveling through various international educational institutions.

In addition to in-person sessions, online participation options are available for students in remote areas to engage with these influencers and gain invaluable advice.

Scholarship Booth: Financial Support for Students


The Study Abroad Festival 2025 proudly presents a dedicated scholarship booth featuring exhibitors from four notable organizations, including:
  • - Ministry of Education, collaborating with private sectors through Tobitate! Study Abroad JAPAN
  • - Yanai Masayoshi Foundation
  • - Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO)
  • - Gakushi, Japan's largest scholarship database with over 17,000 opportunities available.

At the booth, participants can interact with staff members and previous recipients for Q&A sessions, individual consultations, and seminars, helping them discover suitable scholarships to ensure financial hurdles do not prevent them from studying abroad.

Exclusive Prizes Worth 1.5 Million Yen!


Participants of the Study Abroad Festival 2025, whether attending online or in person, will have the chance to win fantastic prizes worth 1.5 million yen!
