SINEXCEL Launches Ukraine's First Energy Storage System Enhancing Local Power Supply
SINEXCEL Launches Its First Energy Storage System in Ukraine
SINEXCEL, a leader in energy solutions, proudly announces the successful commissioning of its inaugural energy storage project in Ukraine. This project, with a capacity of 1.5 MW and 3 MWh, represents a key milestone in the company’s expansion strategy across Europe. The introduction of this energy storage system not only underscores SINEXCEL's commitment to providing adaptable and reliable energy solutions, but it also plays a crucial role in enhancing the stability of local power networks and ensuring the continuity of essential electricity supplies.
The significance of stable electricity supply has never been more critical for maintaining basic services and for day-to-day functioning. As such, flexible and rapidly deployable energy solutions are paramount in bolstering the resilience of electrical grids. This energy storage project is designed to effectively support the local network, helping to alleviate operational burdens and improve the overall availability of electricity.
Equipped with a sophisticated 160kW power conversion system (PCS) developed by SINEXCEL, the energy storage facility has the capability to provide daily electricity needs for around 300 households, thus offering a dependable energy support for local requirements. Its sophisticated response capabilities, with milliseconds-level latency, enable the PCS to regulate the grid with both speed and precision, significantly enhancing the flexibility and responsiveness of the system.
In terms of security, the PCS facilitates effective two-way energy flow and maintains voltage stability through dynamic reactive power compensation, which contributes to the improved quality of electrical energy and meets the demands of both industrial and residential users. Additionally, the system’s high IP rating and modular architecture guarantee long-term operational reliability, simplified maintenance, and the flexibility to expand capacity according to future demand.
To date, SINEXCEL has delivered over 15 GW / 40 GWh of energy storage capacity globally, having completed more than 5,000 projects across over 40 countries and regions. This significant achievement highlights SINEXCEL’s prowess in deploying validated energy storage technologies in various energy grid environments, ultimately facilitating the company's further expansion into Europe while addressing the growing demand for stable and flexible energy solutions.
Founded in 2007, SINEXCEL has become a pioneer in energy storage, electric vehicle charging, and power quality solutions. With installed storage capacity reaching 15 GW, 140,000 EV chargers, and nearly 20 million amperes of deployed AHF, SINEXCEL collaborates with industry leaders, including EVE Energy and Schneider Electric, all to strengthen energy independence.
