Rockline Industries Unveils 2024 Sustainability Report Highlighting Renewables and Waste Management Achievements

Rockline Industries' 2024 Sustainability Report: A Commitment to a Greener Future

Rockline Industries, renowned for its innovative products in the consumer and medical wet wipe market, has recently released its 14th annual Sustainability Report. This year's edition stands out, spotlighting the company's commendable progress in reducing its carbon footprint and enhancing its renewable energy utilization.

Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

Randy Rudolph, President of Rockline Industries, emphasized the company's dedication to long-term sustainability. He stated, "We continue to take bold steps toward reducing our environmental impact." The report underscores significant advancements the company made in the past year, particularly in the realms of renewable energy and waste reduction.

One of the report's notable highlights is Rockline's substantial investment in green power. Thanks to its involvement in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Green Power Partnership, the company now sources nearly 21 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of renewable energy, which accounts for 55% of its total electricity consumption. Furthermore, three of Rockline's facilities—located in Springdale, Booneville (both in Arkansas), and Morristown (Tennessee)—now operate on a near-100% renewable energy basis.

Waste Reduction Initiatives

Beyond its robust energy initiatives, Rockline has made commendable strides in waste reduction since launching its sustainability program in 2008. The company boasts a 33% reduction in solid waste generation across its manufacturing sites. Additionally, Rockline is actively enhancing its wastewater reduction strategies and implementing new initiatives to boost recycling efforts and material efficiency, demonstrating a proactive approach to minimizing its environmental footprint.

Future Goals and Commitment to Net Zero

Looking ahead, Rockline Industries has set ambitious objectives to cut its absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50% by 2032, using 2022 as the baseline year. In alignment with their sustainability vision, the company is also committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. These goals are an integral part of Rockline's broader strategy to achieve autonomy from fossil fuels, leveraging clean and low-carbon energy sources, and fostering ecological sustainability across its product offerings.

The 2024 Sustainability Report not only highlights Rockline's achievements but also serves as a transparent account of the company's commitment to a sustainable future. For those interested in exploring the full report, it's available for download at Rockline Industries Sustainability Report.
