About Kaito Onishi

Kaito Onishi began playing golf at the age of five and moved to the United States at nine to pursue more serious training. From September 2012 to June 2017, he attended the renowned IMG Academy in Florida, well-known for training professional athletes. He participated in various junior golf tournaments in the US and Japan. While attending the University of Southern California, he competed in the U.S. Amateur tournaments in 2019 and 2020, and in 2018, he won the Low Amateur title at the Shigeo Nagashima Invitational Sega Sammy Cup. After turning professional in 2021, he celebrated his first victory on the tour in 2022 during the Fujisankei Classic playoff. With ambitious dreams ahead, Kaito Onishi became a member of the PGA Tour starting in 2025, and Sony Bank is excited to support his journey and passion for golf.
