Vantage Foundation’s Charitable Initiative: Supporting Patients at National Burn Hospital in Hanoi

Bringing Hope to Burn Patients in Hanoi

In a remarkable effort to support burn victims, the Vantage Foundation has partnered with the National Burn Hospital Le Huu Trac in Hanoi. This medical institution is renowned for its specialized care and rehabilitation of patients suffering from severe burn injuries. As the number of burn accidents continues to rise in Vietnam, the hospital plays a crucial role in offering immediate medical attention, rehabilitation services, and ongoing healthcare for those affected.

Burn injuries are not only physically debilitating but also impose significant emotional and financial burdens on patients and their families. Many individuals facing these hardships endure lengthy recovery periods, often battling additional stress from mounting medical costs. This context prompted the Vantage Foundation to step in with much-needed assistance, focusing primarily on providing financial support for patients in critical condition.

During their visit to the hospital, the team from Vantage Foundation engaged with patients beyond providing financial aid. They took the opportunity to offer emotional support and encouragement, ensuring that patients felt cared for and valued during this challenging time. Steven Xie, the Executive Director of the Vantage Foundation, expressed his heartfelt sentiments after meeting the patients. He stated, 'Witnessing the resilience of these individuals was incredibly moving. At Vantage Foundation, we aim to make a real impact in the communities we serve, and we hope our support brings some comfort to those struggling through their treatment.'

Ms. Duong, Head of the Hospital's Administration Department, was also present during the visit and shared her gratitude. 'Many of our patients, especially those from ethnic communities, face dire health conditions and financial difficulties. The assistance from organizations like Vantage Foundation is invaluable and helps us bolster our support for these patients. On behalf of the hospital, I extend my sincere thanks to Vantage for their generosity and hope for ongoing assistance in the future.'

This initiative aligns with the broader mission of the Vantage Foundation to enhance community welfare through dedicated outreach in healthcare, education, and social initiatives. By collaborating with hospitals, non-governmental organizations, and local communities, the foundation continuously strives to create positive and enduring change for those in need.
