SKEMA Business School Expands Global Presence with Dubai Campus Opening

SKEMA Business School Expands Its Global Reach

On February 20, 2025, SKEMA Business School marked a significant milestone by inaugurating its new campus in Dubai, UAE. This event celebrates the school's strategic vision for global expansion, as it seeks to strengthen its influence in the Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) region. With existing campuses in China, the United States, Brazil, Canada, and South Africa, Dubai stands as the latest addition to its international network.

The inauguration ceremony, presided over by SKEMA's CEO Alice Guilhon, witnessed a vibrant gathering of approximately 200 attendees. This included executive committee members, alumni residing in the UAE, representatives from the French embassy, and local business leaders, all sharing in the excitement of SKEMA's entry into one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities.

Dubai is home to a diverse population, comprising 90% expatriates from 140 nationalities, which provides an enriching environment for academic engagement. Among this vibrant community, SKEMA boasts around 800 alumni, making the city a fitting choice for a campus focused on academic excellence and innovation.

SKEMA's Dubai campus currently accommodates 140 students across four key programs: the Master in Management, Global BBA, MSc in International Business, and MSc in Sustainable Finance with a focus on Fintech. Furthermore, starting September 2025, the MSc Global Luxury Management program will also be launched in Dubai, in collaboration with NYU SPS, featuring a specialization in 'Retail Excellence and Client Relationship Management'. This expansion underscores SKEMA's commitment to adapting its curriculum to meet global challenges and industry demands.

Strategically located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)—a renowned financial hub—the new campus offers students direct access to prestigious companies and academic institutions. During her inaugural speech, Alice Guilhon emphasized how Dubai's spirit of initiative and innovation aligns perfectly with the experiential learning ethos that SKEMA prides itself on.

As part of its internationalization strategy, SKEMA aims to attract 1,500 local students to foster a diverse and dynamic learning environment. All educational programs at the Dubai campus are accredited by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Higher Education and recognized by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

In conclusion, the opening of SKEMA's Dubai campus not only enhances its global presence but also provides students with unique immersion opportunities in vibrant economic ecosystems. By facilitating connections to a global network, SKEMA reaffirms its commitment to delivering a world-class education that prepares students for the evolving demands of the global market.
