The new karuta game features 44 reading cards and 44 illustrated cards, each depicting various historical resources, cultural institutions, landmarks, events, and notable figures unique to Chuo Ward. Subjects include prominent locations such as Nihonbashi, Ginza, Tsukiji, Tsukishima, and Harumi, allowing players to deepen their appreciation and understanding of their local heritage while playing.
Chuo Ward will celebrate its 80th anniversary in March 2027, making this launch especially significant. The creators developed this game to help children understand the charm of their hometown and encourage both residents and visitors to rediscover the appealing aspects of Chuo Ward.
