Rui Kihara's Journey to 'REPLAY'

Rui Kihara, widely recognized for his role as KiraMei Yellow in the 2020 Super Sentai series "Mashin Sentai Kirameiger", has taken significant steps forward in his career. Since making his television debut, Rui has successfully transitioned into a celebrated 2.5D musical actor, with standout performances in productions like "Touken Ranbu" as Heshikiri Hasebe and starring as Ichigo Kurosaki in "ROCK MUSICAL BLEACH". His talent in both acting and singing is currently capturing the interest of fans of all ages.

In September, Kihara held a solo concert at the Otemachi Mitsui Hall, which sold out almost immediately, highlighting his growing popularity in the music scene as well. The recent news that has excited fans is the imminent release of his very first full-length album titled 'REPLAY', scheduled for CD release on December 24, 2025.

This album marks a significant milestone for Rui, as he will celebrate his 10th anniversary in the acting world and 5 years since his solo debut next year. The album will feature 13 tracks, starting with fan-favorite instrumental piece "Prologue", and will include his debut song "Onegai Kamisama" among the previously released nine tracks, laid out in order of their release. An exciting new addition is the previously unreleased song titled "Doko made mo", which showcases Kihara’s current vocal prowess and emotive lyrics, encouraging listeners to keep walking forward.

The lead track, "Doko made mo", reflects on his journey so far, inviting listeners to sing along at concerts, making it a fitting conclusion for this album. Additionally, there’s a special bonus track comprised of unreleased material co-written with his actor comrades Yuuki Izawa, Kazuki Kyoten, Nobunaga Sato, Ken Sato, and Hiroki Torigoe, included exclusively in the CD format.

For fans who wish to relish in more than just music, the limited first edition of the album will come with a live Blu-ray from the concert "DREAM HIGHWAY", along with a photo book, all for a retail price of 7,000 yen.
