Tenchijin to Showcase Innovative Water Technology at ASIAWATER 2026 in Kuala Lumpur

Tenchijin at ASIAWATER 2026: Leading with Innovation

Tenchijin, a pioneering venture backed by JAXA, is making waves once again as it confirms its participation in ASIAWATER 2026, the largest water exhibition in Asia. This prestigious event is set to take place from April 7 to 9, 2026, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Malaysia. Having exhibited at the event the previous year, Tenchijin is excited to return and once again contribute to discussions centered on the future of water technology and management.

What is ASIAWATER 2026?

ASIAWATER 2026 marks its 14th edition as an international platform dedicated to the water and wastewater sectors in Asia. Expected to attract over 20,000 professionals from 52 countries and featuring more than 1,000 exhibiting companies and brands, the expo will be a hub of innovation and knowledge-sharing. The theme for this year, “Building Nations: Leveraging Technology-Driven Water Services for Inclusive Growth,” underscores the urgent challenges faced by emerging economies in Asia, including rapid urbanization, climate change, and aging infrastructure. The event will host over 60 sessions, seminars, and workshops that delve into critical topics concerning equitable access to water services and sustainable management practices.

Tenchijin's Exhibition and Seminar

During this notable event, Tenchijin will showcase its innovative water management platform called KnoWaterleak, also known as the Space Water Authority. This platform leverages satellite data and AI technology to assess and manage water leakages efficiently. By visualizing high-risk leakage areas on a map, the solution significantly reduces the costs and time that water utility companies would typically spend on leak investigations.

In addition to the exhibition, Tenchijin will also take part in a technology seminar. Yohei Nishiyama, Executive Officer and Manager of Business Development, will deliver a presentation titled “Space to Ground: AI-Powered NRW Reduction in Asia.” This talk will focus on how AI can play a crucial role in reducing non-revenue water (NRW)—water that is produced but not billed to customers—thereby enhancing the sustainability and reliability of water services across Asia.
