Eculect Inc., based in Setagaya, Tokyo, has entered into a strategic alliance with Notta Inc., located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, to enhance their AI solutions offerings. This partnership aims to support digital transformation (DX) across Western Japan, particularly for enterprises and mid-sized businesses. Eculect, known for its robust network in Western Japan, will assist in licensing, implementing, and operating Notta’s AI meeting minutes service, thereby ensuring comprehensive support for its clients.

In recent times, the significance of AI in enterprises has surged, as companies increasingly seek to accurately and swiftly document and share meeting and negotiation contents. However, the traditional method of creating meeting minutes continues to be time-consuming and labor-intensive, often placing a heavy burden on personnel. Furthermore, the recordings tend to be subjective, posing additional challenges to enterprises seeking efficiency in documentation.

Notta, which initiated its service in 2020 as an automatic transcription and AI meeting minutes tool, has gained widespread popularity, amassing a user base of 10 million, with 72% of Nikkei 225 companies utilizing its services. However, its user base has primarily resided in metropolitan areas, presenting a gap in its reach to regions like Western Japan. Through this new partnership with Eculect, Notta aims to expand its user base significantly in this underserved market.
