Pudu Robotics Launches Innovative Self-Cleaning Docking Station for PUDU CC1 Series
Pudu Robotics Unveils Self-Cleaning Docking Station
Pudu Robotics, a global leader in the service robotics sector, has today announced the arrival of its latest innovation: the Self-Cleaning Docking Station, designed specifically for the PUDU CC1 series. This groundbreaking addition redefines the standards of hands-free cleaning, integrating automated cleaning cycles that not only ensure optimal maintenance of critical components but also significantly reduce routine maintenance efforts.
An Expansion of Cleaning Solutions
The self-cleaning docking station complements Pudu's existing range of cleaning solutions, which includes standard docking stations for recharging and emptying, as well as a Mobile Water Station. Together, these tools equip facility operators with everything they need for consistent, unattended cleaning operations.
Key Features
1. Deep Cleaning Technology with Squeegee Functionality
The docking station is outfitted with a 100W ultrasonic module and a high-temperature water system (operating at 65℃/149°F). This technology ensures a thorough cleaning of the CC1’s squeegee, effectively removing dirt and residues to prevent streaks and secondary contamination.
2. Automatic Roller Brush Cleaning
After every cleaning session, the CC1 docks to clean its roller brushes. This system eliminates over 95% of dirt, prevents entanglement, and extends the brushes' lifespan.
3. Intelligent Spot Detection and Resolution
Integrated with the CC1 Pro’s spot detection features, the system follows a closed-loop process: detect → dock → self-clean → continue operation, ensuring that contamination spread is minimized and high cleaning standards are maintained.
4. Maintenance Efficiency Improved by 35 Times
By automating the daily cleaning tasks for the squeegee and roller brushes, operators can reduce maintenance from several minutes daily to a simple weekly rinse of the water tank.
5. Three Configurations in One System
With a modular quick-swap design, users can choose among three configurations: standard docking station, self-cleaning docking station, or pro version, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of setups from small shops to large facilities.
6. Easy Maintenance with Modular Design
Components such as the roller brush cleaner, squeegee, and water tank can be quickly removed for tool-free maintenance by a single individual.
All Core Functions Retained
In addition to the new features, the self-cleaning docking station maintains all the core functions of the original model, including automatic refills, emptying, detergent dosing, and recharging. It is fully compatible with the Mobile Water Station designed for facilities without direct water access.
A New Benchmark for Autonomous Cleaning
Felix Zhang, the founder and CEO of Pudu Robotics, stated, "The Self-Cleaning Docking Station makes it easier than ever for businesses to maintain consistent cleaning performance. By equipping robots to self-maintain, we have enabled a truly hands-free, unattended operation that transforms operational efficiency and sets a new standard for what truly autonomous cleaning can achieve for our customers."
Debuting at CMS Berlin
The Self-Cleaning Docking Station will be showcased for the first time at the CMS Berlin 2025, taking place from September 23 to September 26 at the Messe Berlin, Germany. Attendees are invited to discover this innovation in Hall 2.2, Booth 218.
