AlphaESS Unveils a Comprehensive Energy Storage Ecosystem at Intersolar 2026

At the recently concluded Intersolar Europe 2026, AlphaESS showcased its renewed vision for the European market, marking a transformative phase that pivots from solitary battery systems to integrated storage solutions. For over a decade, the company has localized its operations, now evolving towards a more comprehensive approach that integrates software, connectivity, and added-value ecosystem services.

During the Munich exhibition, AlphaESS presented its latest innovations, including the STORION-LC-TB150 model designed specifically for commercial and industrial (CI) applications, and the Aster 6260 model for utility-scale use. Central to this initiative is also AlphaConnect, a platform that facilitates the connectivity of batteries, partners, and energy markets, thus driving efficiency and usability in energy storage solutions.

The emphasis on solutions reflects a major shift to meet evolving energy demands, driven by variable energy costs, grid burdens, and complex tariff systems. AlphaESS’s commitment is evident in its focus on integrating local expertise, product knowledge, and digital capabilities to embrace a more adaptable energy management paradigm.

One of the standout products was the STORION-LC-TB150, which attracted significant attention as a CI system tailored for everyday on-site use. This advanced, liquid-cooled all-in-one system offers a nominal capacity of 150 kW and 313 kWh, engineered to harness clean energy effectively across factory, office, and commercial settings. Under the slogan “Silent by Design, Powerful by Nature,” the system operates at a sound level of ≤60 dB(A), comparable to a normal conversation, which allows for its installation close to day-to-day business operations without the inconvenience of noise. Furthermore, it meets the safety standards outlined in the UL 9540A framework and supports up to 12,000 charging cycles, providing users with long-lasting, efficient energy storage solutions.

In the utility-scale segment, AlphaESS’s decade-long presence in Europe has equipped it with the expertise needed to handle larger projects effectively. The company is currently expanding its capabilities, exemplified by its recent 320 MWh project that spans Chvaletice and Kladno in the Czech Republic. This experience feeds directly into its new Aster 6260 platform, which boasts a capacity of 3.13 MW and 6.26 MWh. This system not only incorporates liquid cooling technology but also features enhanced safety measures, remote commissioning capabilities, and AI-driven operational management, ensuring a seamless and secure energy transfer.

Transitioning to the software aspect, AlphaConnect represents a significant leap in creating value. This platform acts as a connectivity layer across assets and markets, providing open APIs for Virtual Power Plant operators, energy aggregators, and third-party services, supporting interoperability between various devices and applications. In the UK, for instance, AlphaESS has integrated deeply with Octopus Energy, a leading smart energy platform in Europe. This integration enables intelligent charging and discharging scheduling, as well as remote management of energy assets, further optimizing energy usage.

With a network comprising over 100 energy partners and platforms across 12 countries and more than 100,000 systems in operation, AlphaESS empowers users to maximize the benefits of software, tariffs, and energy markets, while assisting partners in onboarding within four weeks.

The overarching European strategy of AlphaESS is underscored by the establishment of its Spanish subsidiary, expansion into the Benelux countries, and advancements in project implementations in the Czech Republic, reinforcing its commitment to localization and dedication to the energy transition in Europe.
