Erin Gerner Appointed as CFO of BayCare's Physician and Ambulatory Division

BayCare's New CFO: Erin Gerner



Effective August 3, Erin Gerner has officially taken on the role of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Physician and Ambulatory Division at BayCare Health System. The announcement marks an important step for both Gerner and BayCare, a well-established healthcare provider.

A Wealth of Experience



With over two decades of experience in healthcare finance, Erin has a proven history of guiding financial strategy and operations in various health systems. Prior to joining BayCare, she excelled as the Chief Financial Officer for PeaceHealth Ambulatory Services, based in Vancouver, Washington. During her eight-year tenure at PeaceHealth, she managed a diverse array of service portfolios including medical groups, home care, and retail pharmacy, making significant strides in improving financial performance across multiple service lines.

Erin’s previous role at INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City saw her rise from an accounting manager to ultimately become the CFO of INTEGRIS Medical Group. Her trajectory illustrates her commitment to enhancing financial health in the organizations she serves.

A Vision for BayCare



In her new position at BayCare, Erin will report directly to Janice Polo, the Chief Financial Officer of BayCare. On her appointment, Polo stated, "Erin brings years of healthcare industry experience, with expertise in the ambulatory care setting. Her strong work ethic, collaborative approach, and commitment to our values make her a great addition to the Finance team. Erin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and has achieved her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University Global. This educational background provides a strong foundation for her to successfully guide BayCare's financial strategies toward furthering its mission of delivering high-quality health care services.
