Background of the Product Launch

Operating under the slogan “Forever vivid: Untether time,” DUO aims to empower individuals to live vibrantly regardless of age. The DUO cleansing balm series has consistently ranked #1 in sales for seven consecutive years, earning over 173 beauty awards. Following the overwhelming customer demand for a repeat of last year's successful Uji matcha cleansing balm, as well as the growing interest in matcha within the inbound market, we decided to launch this limited edition product featuring traditional Uji matcha.
