Story Overview

At the heart of 'Sometime, Somewhere, Someone' lies a thought-provoking narrative that explores the existential themes of time, space, and human connection. The story unfolds in a divided space where two characters, Saijo and Kondō, mindlessly transport ambiguous 'stones' back and forth. This monotonous routine is disrupted when unusual individuals gradually infiltrate their isolated area. Each character is yearning for a tranquil life, having surrendered their thoughts to the commands given from above, which revolve around the simple task of carrying 'stones.'

Meanwhile, in another part of the space, two sisters, Rie and Shizuka, await the return of their father who has mysteriously disappeared. Their relative, Kataoka, tries to offer comfort amidst the increasingly heavy and distorted atmosphere of the city around them.

The simultaneous existence of the 'stone-carrying room' and the 'waiting room for their father' eventually intertwines, leading to the unveiling of profound truths about their world.
