Enhanced Measurement Capabilities


The Vista L2 is designed to measure multiple attributes of color, clarity, and turbidity across transparent and translucent liquids as well as solids. By increasing the spectral range to 710 nm, the instrument enables clearer differentiation between actual color and turbidity, which significantly aids quality control teams across various industries, including beverages, edible oils, liquid chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Industry Leading Accuracy


Vista L2 is the first spectrophotometer designed for measurements of transmitted light to apply Lambert-Beer's law with the necessary accuracy for determining absolute color values using standard cells and cuvettes. Consequently, it provides automated measurement results for edible oils through optical path lengths of both 5.25 inches and 1 inch while measuring color on the APHA scale with smaller cells than those required by competing systems, thereby reducing the need for high-cost specialty cells.

Interchangeable holders and base plates are offered in multifunctional, precision, and self-centering versions, which facilitate correct positioning of samples, flasks, cuvettes, translucent preforms, films, and flow samples. Additionally, magnetic mounts and locating pins ensure result repeatability.
