Calloway's Nursery Enhances Leadership with New Vice President of Operations

Calloway's Nursery Inc., the foremost provider of quality plants and excellent customer service in Texas, has made a significant change in its leadership team. Effective June 1, 2026, Jenny Moots has been appointed as Vice President of Operations, a move that marks a pivotal moment in her career and for the company itself.

Jenny Moots is not new to Calloway's; she has been a part of the company for nearly two decades, having joined in 2007. Starting from an entry-level position, she quickly ascended the ranks to become a store manager overseeing multiple locations. Her deep understanding of the nursery business and commitment to customer satisfaction have been key factors in her professional growth.

Marce Ward, the President and CEO of Calloway's, expressed enthusiasm about Moots' promotion. He stated, "Jenny's professional accomplishments exemplify the American Dream. We are thrilled to see Jenny step into this role. Her experience, passion for the business, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences will continue to drive our company's growth and success."

Moots' journey in horticulture began early, influenced by her father, who was a horticulture extension agent at Texas A&M University. Her academic background includes a degree in horticulture from the same institution, which laid the foundation for her successful career in the industry.

In her new capacity, Moots will manage operations at all 28 Calloway's and Cornelius Nursery locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as in Houston and Cedar Park. She will also oversee the Garden Services division, which plays a crucial role in maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces for their clientele.

Moots also brings a wealth of community engagement experience to her new role. Since 2020, she has served on the board of directors for the Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing local landscapes and driving tourism through thoughtful design and management of public greenery.

The roots of Calloway's Nursery can be traced back to its founding in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1986. It has since become a go-to destination for homeowners in the area seeking top-quality plants and unparalleled service. With the acquisition of Cornelius Nursery in 1999, the company expanded its footprint and offerings significantly. Today, Calloway's boasts more Texas Master Certified Nursery Professionals than any other garden center in the region, underscoring its commitment to excellence.

In addition to a diverse array of plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees, Calloway's Nursery provides customized planting services through its Pick, Plant, and Landscape Design divisions, helping customers transform their residential and commercial outdoor spaces. This enhancement in leadership comes at a time when the demand for quality gardening products and services continues to rise, positioning Jenny Moots and Calloway's Nursery at the forefront of the industry.

As Jenny Moots steps into her role as Vice President, she is poised to leverage her extensive experience and passion for horticulture to foster further growth and innovation within Calloway's Nursery, ensuring it remains a leader in the competitive market of plant and garden services in Texas.
