The 22nd GIS Community Forum: Where Innovation Meets Geography
The 22nd GIS Community Forum is set to take place at the vibrant Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, scheduled for May 29-30, 2025. Organized by ESRI Japan, a leading provider of geographic information system (GIS) software in Japan, this forum aims to promote the use of GIS and facilitate information exchanges among users from various sectors. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
GIS technology empowers communities and individuals by transcending barriers of politics, culture, and language, enabling the integration of diverse data sources. This integration deepens our geographical understanding of complex issues and fosters effective decision-making. The forum will gather participants to explore how GIS can provide fresh perspectives toward solving global challenges through collaboration with local communities.

This segment will spotlight users who effectively and innovatively leverage GIS in their daily research, operations, and projects, sharing their ideas and the experiences gained in the process.
Technical Sessions
Discover the latest technological trends with presentations on how to utilize ESRI Japan's products, product overviews, and development plans.
Exhibitions
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a variety of exhibitions, including sponsor displays, solution showcases, ESRI Japan products, as well as exhibits from schools, research institutions, and nonprofits. A map gallery featuring both standard and story maps will also be curated to highlight the diverse expressive capabilities of GIS.
