The IT Career Advancement Association, known as JAIC, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has been pivotal in nurturing cutting-edge IT talents specializing in AI, cybersecurity, AR, VR, XR, IoT, blockchain, and digital transformation. From October 27, 2025, JAIC organized its third corporate visit and networking event in the vibrant regions of San Francisco and Silicon Valley. With over 10,000 startups worldwide gathered at the 'TechCrunch Disrupt 2025' event, the visit aimed to connect Japanese startups with premier technological innovations and professional networks.

Visiting Google Headquarters

During the trip, attendees had the unique opportunity to explore the Google Headquarters, guided by employee Suzuki. The experience included a delightful lunch featuring Google's legendary meals. Participants engaged in informative discussions with Suzuki, further enhancing their understanding of Google's culture and innovative practices. Attendees also had the chance to purchase exclusive souvenirs from the employee-only shop, adding a personal touch to their visit.

Experiencing the Latest Technologies

The exposure to groundbreaking technologies was not limited to Google. The delegation visited Meta’s store, where they experienced the latest Meta Ray-Ban Display Glasses. This hands-on experience allowed participants to appreciate the intersection of fashion and technology while also understanding the usability of these advanced gadgets in everyday life.

Each site has its own story that reveals the development of tech culture in the region. The visit to HP Garage, the birthplace of Silicon Valley, was particularly moving, showcasing the humble beginnings of remarkable technological advancements.

Additionally, the group made a stop at the Japan Innovation Campus (JIC), engaging with local entrepreneurs and venture capitalists from Taiwan. This session further amplified networking opportunities and provided insights into startup ecosystems within the area. During these interactions, participants exchanged ideas and explored the potential for future collaborations and investments.
