Experience the JAF Road Service Competition!

On July 27, 2025, at the JAF Central Training Center in Tama City, Tokyo, the JAF Kanto Headquarters will host the highly anticipated "JAF Kanto Road Service Competition - Experience JAF Together This Summer!" This free event will display the rescue skills of JAF road service personnel, showcasing their expertise and dedication through an exciting competition.

Event Highlights

The competition aims to enhance the skill levels of JAF members through two main categories:
1. Team Competition: Four team members will work together to raise a vehicle that has overturned in an accident, utilizing a tow truck's winch.
2. Individual Competition: Participants will handle real-life scenarios, such as changing a flat tire. This setup allows attendees to observe the high-energy environment of the competition while fostering their understanding and interest in road services.

Expect a thrilling atmosphere, where your cheers and encouragement will empower the competitors.

In a first for the Kanto Headquarters, a special feature at this year's event will be the participation of child judges for the individual competition. These young judges will evaluate the contestants alongside official assessors based on four criteria: volume of voice, smile, coolness, and speed. The rating system will consist of three levels: 'Well Done', 'Good', and 'Needs Improvement.' After the judging, child judges will present awarded certificates to the road service personnel, creating unforgettable memories for all involved. (Note: Each session will allow a maximum of 10 elementary school students to serve as judges, selected by lottery in the event of high application numbers.)

Moreover, the event offers various engaging activities for all age groups, such as:

• - Tow Truck Operation Experience: Participants can try operating a tow truck firsthand under the guidance of professionals.
• - Message Writing: Attendees can leave personal messages on the JAF road service car, making it a fun and interactive experience that fosters creativity.

- Morning Session: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

• - Location: JAF Central Training Center, 6-24-2 Nagayama, Tama City, Tokyo
• - Admission: Free
• - Capacity: 150 participants per session (Reservation required)
• - Registration Method: Sign up at JAF Registration Link. Anyone, including JAF members and the general public, is eligible to apply. If there are too many applicants, a lottery system will be implemented.
