Exhibits Overview
The event will showcase various fascinating technologies including the following:
Racing Simulator
Experience driving like never before with a state-of-the-art racing simulator that merges LiDAR scanning technology with a technique known as Gaussian Splatting. This simulator enables users to experience courses created from high-definition images and LiDAR data. Attendees will get to enjoy thrilling virtual races that surpass reality itself!
3D Model Creation
Participants can capture images of their favorite objects using a smartphone application to create 3D models. These models will be displayed on a glasses-free 3D display, allowing users to rotate and view them from multiple angles using a controller. This activity not only engages young minds creatively but also demonstrates the wonders of 3D technology.
Physical Web Experience
Dive into the innovative world of the Physical Web, where various everyday objects serve as controllers. Participants can launch illustrations of Nagasaki's famous delicacies, "Umakamon," onto the screen. Moreover, the experience combines interaction with real-life elements, such as making an empty can sound, and allows users to add more illustrations using their smartphones.
