Embarcadero Technologies Price Revision Announcement
Embarcadero Technologies, headquartered in Austin, Texas with a Japanese branch in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has announced a price revision for its cross-platform native application development environments, including RAD Studio 13, Delphi 13, and C++Builder 13. This new pricing will come into effect on April 1, 2026.
For several years, Embarcadero has maintained prices that were favorable to customers, despite the fluctuating forex rates and the ongoing depreciation of the yen. However, the recent and continuous decline in currency value has significantly impacted the company's financial standing, leading to increasing foreign exchange losses.
Despite implementing various cost-saving measures aimed at improving operational efficiency and automating business processes, the adverse effects of currency fluctuations have persisted, surpassing the ability of internal cost-management strategies to absorb these losses. Consequently, Embarcadero has made the difficult decision to adjust its prices.

Implementation Timeline

- - Customers with active upgrade subscriptions or maintenance contracts initiated before March 31, 2026, will not be subject to this price revision.
Despite the price changes, Embarcadero is committed to maintaining and enhancing their quick response system. They will continue to offer a free version, Community Edition, aimed at individual users and startups focused on education and hobbies. Additionally, Embarcadero will persist in updating and expanding educational content, including onboarding support, knowledge bases, and tutorial videos, to ensure customers can utilize their products effectively.
Delphi 31st Anniversary Campaign
In celebration of Delphi’s 31st anniversary, Embarcadero is running a special campaign from February 16 to March 16, 2026, offering RAD Studio, Delphi, and C++Builder at a special price through their e-shop. The campaign includes the Professional, Enterprise, and Architect editions of RAD Studio, Delphi, and C++Builder 13 Florence (Note: Academic and network licenses are excluded).
