The NSCA Japan S&C Conference 2025 is officially scheduled to take place on February 21-22, 2026. This event will be held in a hybrid format allowing attendees to participate either in person or online, featuring a prestigious lineup of speakers who are experts in strength training and conditioning. The highlight of the conference will be the participation of internationally recognized guests such as Duncan French, the Vice President of Performance at the UFC Performance Institute, and Bryan Mann, an associate professor at Texas A&M University. In total, around 20 prominent speakers will share evidence-based knowledge through lectures and practical sessions.

What is the S&C Conference?


The S&C Conference is one of the major events organized by NSCA Japan alongside the S&C Forum, held twice annually. This prominent gathering of professionals invites multiple recognized speakers from both domestic and international arenas to discuss research-backed topics in strength training and conditioning. Additionally, attendees can present case studies through poster sessions and oral presentations, contributing to the advancement of the S&C field in Japan.

Duncan French is recognized as a leading authority in high-performance sports, holding an impressive background with over 25 years of experience working with athletes across more than 40 professional and international competitions. Currently, he oversees performance services for over 700 UFC fighters worldwide and manages state-of-the-art performance facilities in Las Vegas, Shanghai, and Mexico City.

Bryan Mann has held the position of Director of Sports Science at the University of Miami before transitioning to his current role as an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University. His contributions to velocity-based training and progressive resistance training protocols are essential for enhancing athletes' strength and power. He is dedicated to developing student-athletes competing at the international level.
