Many who do pursue nursing are often encouraged by parents and teachers, leading to disillusionment upon entering the profession. The Nasumira event was initiated to showcase the allure of nursing, allowing students to engage with professionals and gain firsthand insights into the field. Through practical programs led by passionate nurses using real medical equipment, participants could deepen their understanding of nursing careers.

Unprecedented Participant Feedback

In a survey conducted among 144 participants, satisfaction levels soared with 84.6% indicating they were "very satisfied" and 15.4% "somewhat satisfied." A whopping 99.3% responded positively about wanting to participate in future events, while the recommendation intent to friends was also 99.3%.

Feedback collected from students included comments like, "The simulation of medical experiences was enriching," and "I enjoyed blood tests and found the instructors very supportive." These remarks highlight the value of directly engaging with nursing practices, further fueling enthusiasm toward pursuing a nursing career.

Participants thoroughly enjoyed unique experiences and interaction with knowledgeable professionals. Some expressed a newfound eagerness to become nurses due to hands-on activities, such as blood sampling and ambulation experiences.

This year's event blended entertainment with education, featuring 11 nursing skill-based programs complemented by booths providing information from eight nursing schools. Participants embraced the festive atmosphere while engaging with various medical activities, from color diagnosis to traditional games. This fusion aimed to inspire interest in healthcare among students.

Visitors had the chance to engage in insightful discussions about nursing programs, financial guidance for education, and even learn to utilize AI in their studies through specialized mini-seminars. Experts provided practical advice in real-time, ensuring the information shared was both applicable and valuable.

Symbolizing Aspirations: Sakura Tree Installation

One unique feature of the event was the installation of a sakura tree, where students could share their ambitions of becoming nurses by writing down their aspirations on cherry blossom-shaped paper and attaching them to the tree. In response to participant feedback, the organizing committee hopes to expand future events to include emergency care simulations and hospital tours.
