Celebrating Five Years of Gotanda Tokyu Square

This April, Gotanda Tokyu Square, operated by Tokyu Malls Development Co., Ltd., is celebrating its fifth anniversary with the event titled '5th Anniversary Ready GO!' This occasion marks a significant milestone, as the facility, directly accessible from Gotanda Station via the Tokyu Ikegami Line and JR Yamanote Line, invites both locals and visitors to engage in a series of unique, sensory-driven experiences that showcase the charm of Shinagawa.

Originally named Remy Gotanda when it opened in 2020, the facility rebranded to Gotanda Tokyu Square in line with its operational philosophy—offering a space for quality and comfort to enhance daily life. From April 24 to May 14, the anniversary event will feature numerous special discounts and unique products themed around the number '5', as well as a variety of workshops and events during the Golden Week.

Special Sales Event

From April 24 to May 14, the 'READY TO 5! ANNIVERSARY SALE' will take place across 21 stores. Participating shops will provide special items and discounts based on the theme of '5'. For instance, at Tsubakiya Coffee, customers who purchase 50g of coffee beans will receive a complimentary drip coffee pack.

Point Promotion

During the same period, shoppers can enjoy 'POINT UP DAYS!' where purchases made using the Tokyu Card will earn up to 10% points instead of the usual 2%. Regular Tokyu Point Card holders will see their points increase from 1% to 5% as well, enticing more customers to visit.

Sensory Activities and Workshops

From April 29 to May 6, the facility will host various workshops designed to engage all five senses:

• - 555g Challenge: Participants must match a target weight of 555 grams using sweets, with prizes for accuracy.

• - Shinagawa Local Treats Sale: Enjoy a collaboration between Fukueikai and local sweets showcasing the best of Shinagawa.

• - Kakutai Experience: Gain insights about Shinagawa while playing a traditional card game presenting the region's history.

• - Flower Arranging Workshop: Create unique bouquets using preserved flowers from a local florist paired with fragrant products.

Additionally, the facility will be decorated using dried flowers in the official Shinagawa color, 'Shinagawa Purple', from April 24 to May 13.

Anniversary Lottery

The lottery held during the event encourages participants to spend at least JPY 3,000 at any store in Gotanda Tokyu Square. Each JPY 3,000 spent allows one entry into the lottery for exciting prizes including a pair of lunch tickets to the Tokyo Marriott Hotel or admission tickets to Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa.

This year also marks the launch of the 'FIND LOCAL' initiative, established in July 2023, which aims to enhance local community connections and promote the unique attributes of the Shinagawa area, including its food, culture, and arts.
