Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Unveils Unique Online Factory Tour for Families

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Launches Innovative Online Factory Tour

This summer, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan is excited to announce a unique opportunity for families to join their online factory tour program called "Let's Learn Together! Summer School." This special initiative aims to engage families, particularly elementary and junior high school students, in learning about the fascinating world of Coca-Cola from the comfort of their homes. The program is set to kick off on July 27, 2023, with a series of three 15-minute videos released weekly, available without prior reservation.

Inspired by feedback from past participants, the company has revamped its approach to cater to diverse needs. Previously, the online factory tour was a live event requiring prior registration, often leading to full bookings or difficulty in attending for those living far away. This year, Coca-Cola has eliminated the reservation requirement, allowing anyone to watch at their convenience and encouraging widespread participation.

Explore the Journey of Coca-Cola

The theme of this year’s summer school is "Exploring Coca-Cola’s World of Work through the Voices of Staff." Each video will feature actual Coca-Cola employees who will serve as guides, sharing insights about the product's history, manufacturing processes, and environmental initiatives. By leveraging the unique aspects of online video, viewers will get access to behind-the-scenes stories and insights that are often missed in traditional factory tours.

The program promises to be an eye-opening experience, showcasing various factories and production facilities, allowing families to understand how Coca-Cola is produced and delivered to customers. Going beyond mere factory work, the interactions between employees and their roles within the company are designed to inspire the next generation.

Engaging Activities and Prizes

To make the learning experience even more interactive, Coca-Cola has included a fun mystery-solving component in the program. Each video will feature a series of clues that viewers can jot down on downloadable worksheets available via the program’s website. This resource not only provides a means to keep track of learning points but also serves as an excellent tool for summer research projects.

At the end of each video, participants will be challenged with a mystery question requiring them to collect keywords from all three episodes. Completed quizzes submitted through surveys will give 20 lucky winners a chance to receive a case of Coca-Cola products, along with 80 others who will win exclusive merchandise.
