AlphaESS Unveils Advanced Energy Storage Ecosystem at Intersolar 2026

AlphaESS recently wrapped up its participation in Intersolar Europe 2026, showcasing its ambition to expand within the European market. After over a decade of localizing its business, the company is transitioning from merely being an equipment manufacturer to delivering added value through software solutions, digital connectivity, and an ecosystem approach.

During the event held in Munich, AlphaESS introduced the STORION-LC-TB150 system aimed at commercial and industrial applications, alongside the Aster 6260 platform for large energy projects. Another highlight was the AlphaConnect platform, which integrates battery systems with partners and energy markets.

The exhibition reflected a significant shift in Europe from standalone battery installations to integrated energy assets based on storage systems. With increasing electricity costs, added strains on grids, and complex tariff systems presenting new market demands, AlphaESS is focusing on solutions that meld local expertise, product capabilities, and digital integration. This strategy aims to improve solar generation efficiency, enhance energy system flexibility, and optimize energy consumption.

A major attraction at the booth was the STORION-LC-TB150 system, specifically designed for everyday use in commercial and industrial settings. This integrated system features a capacity of 150 kW and can store 313 kWh of energy, utilizing a liquid cooling mechanism. Marketed under the slogan “Silent by Design, Powerful by Nature,” it operates at a noise level of ≤60 dB(A)—comparable to a regular conversation—allowing for close placement to business environments without noise disruption. Furthermore, it meets UL 9540A fire safety standards at the module level and ensures a lifespan of up to 12,000 cycles.

In the realm of large-scale energy projects, AlphaESS demonstrated its ability to connect product development closely with practical project execution. With over ten years of presence in Europe backed by subsidiaries, local teams, and partnerships, AlphaESS has emerged as a key player in large-scale projects. One significant undertaking in the Czech Republic involves installations in Chvaletice and Kladno with a total capacity of 320 MWh, confirming the company's capability to deliver substantial projects.

The expertise gained over the years contributed to the creation of the Aster 6260, a liquid-cooled system with a power output of 3.13 MW and a storage capacity of 6.26 MWh designed for high-density equipment placement. It comes equipped with integrated safety features along with capabilities for remote activation and AI-based maintenance services. Furthermore, AlphaConnect plays a critical role in enhancing digital connectivity among energy assets and markets, providing open API interfaces for virtual power plant operators, energy resource aggregators, and third-party systems, ensuring compatibility among various devices and applications.

In the UK, AlphaConnect has already established deep integration with Octopus Energy, a leading smart energy platform in Europe that facilitates intelligent charging and discharging management for storage systems, as well as remote asset control. The platform brings together over 100 energy partners and platforms, plus more than 100,000 systems across 12 countries, enabling users to leverage additional benefits from software services, tariff mechanisms, and market participation. Partners can integrate into the ecosystem in as little as four weeks.

AlphaESS’s European strategy gained further validation with the opening of a subsidiary in Spain and expansion activities in the Benelux region, underscoring the company’s commitment to localization. The success in Czech projects reinforces AlphaESS's long-term dedication to supporting Europe’s transition to clean energy.
