AURAS Corporation, led by CEO Hirokazu Yamaoka, will participate in the upcoming DESIGNART TOKYO 2026, one of Japan's largest design and art festivals, occurring from October 30 to November 8, 2026. This event celebrates diverse creative expressions in design, art, interior design, fashion, and technology across various locations in Tokyo.

Experience the Fusion of Technology and Design

Set in the heart of Roppongi, AURAS will transform its Residential Experience Center (AREC) into an interactive showcase where visitors can immerse themselves in a living space that harmonizes visuals, audio, lighting, and smart home technology. This year's exhibition marks a significant milestone for DESIGNART as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The AREC normally operates on a reservation-only basis, but during DESIGNART TOKYO 2026, it will be open to the public, allowing a broader audience to experience AURAS's innovative approaches toward home design. Unlike traditional showrooms that feature standalone products, this exhibition aims to demonstrate how technology can be seamlessly integrated into home decor, creating a unified and immersive living environment.

Highlighting Barco Residential's Cutting-Edge Displays

A standout feature will be a special installation of Barco Residential's state-of-the-art cinematic technology. From November 1 to November 8, a 163-inch Direct View LED wall, known as the Vali NT1.2, will be displayed in the center's dining area. This allows visitors to understand how massive visual displays can transform a room, moving beyond mere entertainment and becoming integral to the home’s ambiance and interior design.

In addition, a private cinema with a 204-inch screen will be available, showcasing the Barco Residential RGB laser projector, Heimdall+ Cinemascope. This setup, capable of 6K resolution, will provide an unparalleled viewing experience, immersing attendees in a cinematic world unlike anything found in standard home entertainment setups.

Special Exhibitions and Installations

Ahead of the main event, from October 10 to October 31, a unique collaboration between the Canadian design brand Molo and Cassina ixc. will be on display. Visitors can appreciate the captivating “cloud” lighting installation alongside the latest furniture collections, demonstrating how light and design interact to create inviting atmospheres.

On November 3, a special listening event featuring Burmester, a leading luxury HiFi audio brand from Berlin, will also take place. The product focus will be on the Burmester B38 floor-standing speaker, showcasing the intersection of high-end audio and interior design.

After DESIGNART ends, AURAS will continue to highlight high-fidelity audio systems featuring renowned brands such as Sonus faber and Bowers & Wilkins, maintaining the exhibition as a living, evolving space that continues to transform throughout October and November.
