The collaboration is set to kick off on April 26, 2026, allowing Viettel Post to act as FedEx's National Network Provider (NNP) in the country. This partnership will enhance the logistics framework, further connecting Vietnamese businesses to international supply chains.
Details of the Partnership
Under the terms of this agreement, both companies will utilize Viettel Post's extensive nationwide logistics network, transportation capabilities, and local infrastructure to meet the growing shipping demands in Vietnam. Key operational functions performed by Viettel Post will include pickup and delivery of shipments, first- and last-mile operations, warehousing, coordination of import-export customs clearance, and last-mile distribution.
During the launch event, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, emphasized that this collaboration is crucial for strengthening Vietnam's logistics capacity and promoting trade development. The partnership is viewed as a significant move towards creating more cohesive and efficient supply chains in the region.

Viettel Post stated that merging FedEx's global operational standards with its local execution capabilities will establish a large-scale cross-border logistics system built to international standards. The collaboration will encompass essential logistics services, including operations management, shipment collection, last-mile deliveries, customs clearance, and warehouse operations at principal aviation logistics hubs.
The partnership is projected to handle nearly 2 million shipments per year, amounting to a total weight of over 26,000 tons, thus connecting Vietnamese goods to more than 220 countries and territories worldwide. This extensive cooperation is anticipated to bolster Vietnam's cross-border logistics capacity and facilitate local businesses in accessing global markets.
