Brightstar Lottery Extends Partnership with TIPOS for Three More Years

Brightstar Lottery PLC has recently announced an agreement to extend its partnership with TIPOS a.s., Slovakia's national lottery, for an additional three years. This extension signifies the commitment to provide state-of-the-art lottery technologies and services that have bolstered the lottery landscape in Slovakia for over three decades now.

The relationship between Brightstar and TIPOS began more than 30 years ago, and the new contract will push this collaboration into 2032. Under this renewed agreement, Brightstar is set to continue its role as a pivotal technology provider for TIPOS. This comes after a successful implementation of a modern lottery central system, the introduction of next-generation retailer terminals, and comprehensive support services that were established in 2019.

As part of this contract extension, Brightstar will also deliver up to 2,500 new mobile lottery terminals. These portable devices are designed to enhance TIPOS's outreach and provide greater convenience for lottery players. The handheld terminals will play a significant role in converting offline instant ticket sales into an efficient online platform, thereby increasing the number of points where players can engage in purchasing draw-based lottery games.
