Tokyo Artisan Intelligence to Exhibit at JR East Startup Program DEMODAY
Tokyo Artisan Intelligence Co., Ltd. (TAI), located in Yokohama, Kanagawa, is excited to announce its participation in the 11th JR East Startup Program DEMODAY, scheduled for May 27, 2025. This event, organized by JR East Startup Co., Ltd., will feature TAI's groundbreaking edge AI solution, 'Station Moni-Edge,' developed in collaboration with JR East Consultants Co., Ltd.
What is 'Station Moni-Edge'?
'
Station Moni-Edge' is an advanced safety monitoring system designed for railway stations. It integrates the station monitoring software 'Station Moni®,' developed by JR East Consultants, with TAI’s innovative edge AI computer, '
SEASIDE-R7.' This cutting-edge system offers real-time detection of falls and abnormal behaviors within station premises, ensuring immediate alerts are dispatched to personnel, significantly reducing the chances of oversight or delayed response.
Unlike the traditional 'Station Moni®,' which faced limitations in wiring and adaptability, 'Station Moni-Edge' excels in its flexible installation options and responsiveness. This innovation is especially beneficial for unmanned or remote stations, enhancing safety measures while alleviating operational burdens. Additionally, it allows for easy adjustments in configuration to meet specific station needs, facilitating customization tailored to individual requirements.
Exhibition Features
During the DEMODAY event, TAI will conduct live demonstrations at its exhibition booth, showcasing how the AI system identifies abnormal behavior within the station. Attendees will observe the functionality of dome cameras as they capture and recognize incidents, providing real-time alerts.
Furthermore, a real-unit edge AI computer will be displayed, offering insights into its installation capabilities and technical performance, allowing visitors to experience the innovation firsthand.
