An Unforgettable Summer Festival
The recent summer festival titled "Sutchi & Tamayo's Open House Comedy Extravaganza!" took place on July 26, 2026, at the Aeon Mall Tsurumi Midorigaoka, celebrating the fifth anniversary of Open House's expansion into the Kansai region. This interactive event was a big success, drawing large crowds excited to experience a fusion of comedy and community engagement.
An Action-Packed Stage Event
The festival’s theme, "A Grand Fair of Comedy and Homes," featured a variety of vibrant stage events. One highlight was the highly entertaining "Zukkoke Experience," where audience members, guided by the beloved comedians such as Suchiko and Tamayo Shimada, reenacted the hilarious falls characteristic of Yoshimoto Shinkigeki. The sight of children performing the "Zukkoke" in perfect sync had everyone in stitches!
Following this, an exclusive mini Shinkigeki show took center stage, featuring unique skits centered around the theme of home searching. Hilarious routines delivered by Suchiko, including classic gags such as "Ame Maki" and "Nipple Drill," alongside Tamayo's signature "Panty Texts," captivated the audience, which was filled to the brim with fans.
The Sales Competition
In a playful twist, Suchiko and Tamayo faced off in a lighthearted sales competition, impersonating the company’s staff. Hamazaki, one of our employees, acted as the judge. The comedic sales pitches integrated real estate terminology like "land price increase," "interest rate rise," and more, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter. Hamazaki even joined the fun with his own comedic sales attempts, showcasing the engaging spirit of the event.
Photo Contest and Social Media Fun
The event also featured an enticing "Open House Best Photo Contest," encouraging attendees to snap photos and share them on X (formerly Twitter) with the hashtag #OpenHouseGoHiki. A plethora of unique photos flooded in, and awards were handed out right on the spot, allowing winners to leave with exclusive merchandise.
Closing Acts and Interactive Booths
Capping off the festival was the "Yoshimoto Comedy Live," showcasing four talented acts: Fusuya, Gokai Captain, Gion, and Gallop. Their performances had the audience roaring with laughter, elevating the festival’s energy to its peak.
Additionally, interactive carnival games like "Suchiko's Shooting Gallery" and "Tamayo's Secret Pocket?! Pocket Ball" enthralled guests right from the start, leading to long lines and continuous enjoyment. The housing consultation booths also attracted many visitors, fostering direct engagement with the community.
Commitment to Community Engagement
As we reflect on the success of this joy-filled event, Open House Group remains committed to organizing unique initiatives that will continue to engage and entertain the local community in the future.
