BLUETTI Unveils Innovative Solar Solutions for Balconies in Paris

BLUETTI's Innovative Balco Series Launch

On May 12, 2026, in the picturesque city of Paris, BLUETTI introduced an innovative series of integrated solar solutions intended for balconies, aptly named the Balco series. This array includes the Balco 260, Balco 500, and the Balco Transfer Hub, all designed with a common theme of simplicity, intelligence, and energy efficiency.

Streamlined Solar Setup

The Balco series aims to make solar energy more accessible for urban dwellers, especially those living in apartments with limited space. Each unit in the series promises straightforward installation, cleverly designed for a plug-and-play utility. Equipped with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controllers, micro-inverters, batteries, and safety modules, the Balco systems combine these essential components into a single, cohesive unit.

In addition, BLUETTI has introduced the Smart S Meter, which features a magnetic attachment that enhances user experience by simplifying system monitoring and management.

Enhanced Connectivity

One of the significant innovations is the introduction of the BLUETTI Space, which allows wireless connectivity between multiple Balco units—up to six can communicate seamlessly through Wi-Fi. The Balco 260 is compatible with up to five BC 260 expansion batteries, creating an impressive total energy storage capacity of 15 kWh.

Smart Energy Management

What sets the Balco series apart is its AI-powered Energy Management System (AI-EMS). This intelligent system syncs real-time electricity pricing, photovoltaic production forecasts, and cloud data to create optimized energy management strategies. This streamlined approach not only enhances efficiency—with an impressive conversion rate of 96.11% and a standby consumption of only 4.5 W—but also aids users in generating their own electricity, thereby reducing reliance on the grid.

Powering Homes Efficiently

The Balco 500 can connect in parallel with three units to reach a staggering 11 kW output and back up an entire household with its 15 kWh capacity. The Balco 260 supports up to four MPPT channels, with a total output of 2,400 W. In contrast, the Balco 500 features a high-voltage MPPT design capable of harnessing 4,300 W of solar energy—these features fit ideally for sustainable living and home energy independence.

Transforming Existing Devices

Complementing the Balco series is the Balco Transfer Hub, which allows users to convert their portable power stations—compatible with all BLUETTI products and several third-party devices—into a grid-tied photovoltaic balcony system. By connecting a storage system directly to the home’s electrical network through a standard outlet, the Transfer Hub can supply up to 800 W of power to the grid.

The Path Forward for BLUETTI

Founded in 2013, BLUETTI has consistently positioned itself at the forefront of clean energy technology. The company specializes in developing innovative portable power stations and backup batteries for homes, crucial during power outages. With extensive investments in research, development, and production, along with a growing portfolio of patents, BLUETTI continues to elevate standards of performance, safety, and sustainability in the energy sector. They now serve over 3.5 million users across more than 120 countries.

Through their launch in Paris, BLUETTI not only demonstrates its commitment to sustainability but also provides urban residents with effective, innovative, and easy-to-implement solar energy solutions for everyday life.
