Asymbl Unveils New Headquarters in Austin Amidst Growing AI Workforce

Asymbl Opens Headquarters in Austin: A New Era for Workforce Collaboration

Asymbl, a pioneering force in workforce orchestration, officially opened its first Austin headquarters on October 19, establishing a key base as the company moves into an era where in-person coordination is vital.

Having successfully operated remotely across North America, Asymbl transitioned to this new location at 1515 E. Cesar Chavez St., where it aims to accelerate its hiring processes. Recognizing the increasing importance of personal interactions in a landscape dominated by artificial intelligence, the company believes that fostering in-person relationships will significantly enhance team synergy and efficiency.

Since its launch, Asymbl has adopted a remote-first model, enabling it to tap into top talent regardless of geography. However, as the team expanded, the challenges of maintaining rapport and shared understanding grew. In response, the company opted for this new headquarters, highlighting its commitment to building strong, cohesive teams. The office currently houses 14 employees, and initially accommodates up to 40, allowing for future growth. It serves as the primary location for the company's sales, marketing, customer success, and people operations teams.

Brandon Metcalf, CEO and founder of Asymbl, emphasized the importance of face-to-face interactions. He stated, "Investing in our people is just as critical as investing in our digital workforce. Our people learn and deliver faster when they're working alongside each other. The side conversations are where relationships deepen and trust gets built, and that's what lets us move faster for our customers."

The Austin headquarters is strategically designed for collaboration, making it easier for new hires to integrate with their teammates. The layout promotes mentorship, with junior staff seated near experienced colleagues who can guide their development. Asymbl's commitment to human-centric development is clear, as the company plans to steadily increase its workforce in Austin. This expansion reflects its long-term vision of a successful integration of both human talent and digital labor.

The workforce orchestration model combines human personnel with AI capabilities to create a seamless operational flow. Asymbl has progressively developed this strategy, showcasing the vital role human oversight and relationships play in effective workforce management. Currently, the company employs around 120 individuals globally, supplemented by over 200 digital workers, and has several job openings in Austin, primarily focusing on the sales and account management teams.

Greg Symons, president and founder, added, "Having our sales, marketing, and customer success teams together in one place means quicker answers for our customers and a team that's aligned on what they need. It makes us a better partner to them." Although many employees will continue to work remotely, this office serves as a hub for collaboration and connection among all team members.

Future Growth and Vision

Looking ahead, Asymbl's leaders are focused on building a workplace that not only adapts to the evolving landscape of AI-driven workflows but also promotes a culture of personal growth and collaborative efforts. By investing in both human resources and technological advancements, Asymbl aims to ensure that its workforce remains agile and innovative, ready to meet customer demands effectively.

As the company advances its presence in Austin, it is poised to not just enhance its operational capabilities but also contribute to the local economy through job creation and corporate engagement. Overall, this move signals Asymbl's recognition of the symbiotic relationship between digital and human capabilities in the modern workforce, an ethos that will drive its growth and success in the years to come.
