Customers purchasing foreign currency from Travelex stores will receive a unique commemorative playing card as a special gift. This initiative marks a significant milestone for the company, founded in the United Kingdom in 1976, and its success is attributed to the support of countless customers over the years.

Campaign Details

Store Exclusive Promotion

Customers who visit Travelex locations during the campaign period and present the shop card from the official Travelex Line account are entitled to receive a commemorative playing card when they purchase more than ¥30,000 in foreign currency. This is in addition to the usual Line friends discount.

Moreover, purchases made in-store can include various currencies, with over 30 options available. Customers can also benefit from this promotion when they buy currency online and choose to collect it in-store, or when they charge their Travelex Money Card with foreign currency.

Campaign Period: July 15, 2026, to August 31, 2026
Eligible Transactions: Purchase of over ¥30,000 in foreign currency
Participating Locations: All Travelex stores in Japan and currency exchange centers affiliated with View Card.

Important Notes:

- Customers must show the official Travelex Line account shop card to be eligible for the card gift.
- The playing cards will be offered one per transaction and are limited in supply, so availability may run out quickly.
- The Travelex Money Card supports 8 currencies including USD, EUR, and GBP, but not Japanese Yen.
- This promotion can be combined with other discounts and benefits.

Online Exclusive Rate Sale

To further enhance the celebratory mood, Travelex will also host a limited-time rate sale online for 50 hours, starting at 1 PM on July 15, 2026. This sale will offer favorable rates for purchasing foreign currency through Travelex's official website or the Travelex Money app.

Sale Period: July 15, 2026, 1 PM to July 17, 2026, 2:59 PM
Eligible Transactions: Purchasing foreign currency or charging the Travelex Money Card with foreign currency.

Terms for the Rate Sale:

- The special rates will apply automatically when orders are placed through the Travelex official website or app.
- This offer is exclusively available on Travelex's Japanese platform and does not apply to orders made through partner websites.
