Great News for the Heisei Generation in Education

On October 18, 2025, TAC (Tokyo Accounting College) is hosting an online seminar titled "A Chance for the Heisei Generation! Recommendations for Aspiring Teachers." This event will highlight new opportunities for members of the Heisei generation, many of whom faced immense challenges during the teacher recruitment exams due to limited openings and high competition.

For those who had to postpone their teaching aspirations because of the highly selective nature of these exams, we have encouraging news! Recently, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology issued a notification requesting local education boards to explore measures making it easier for this generation to enter the teaching profession. This includes potential exemptions from certain tests and additional points during recruitment, marking a significant change in the educational landscape.

The seminar will delve into the efforts made to actively recruit individuals from the Heisei generation, outlining specific strategies expected to be implemented and recruiting forecasts. We aim to inspire those who are reconsidering their teaching ambitions, helping them to find the courage to pursue their dreams of becoming educators.
