From April 29 to May 15, 2025, the Metagri Institute, led by Nojojin Co., Ltd. based in Funabashi, Chiba, will be hosting the unique "Golden Tea Leaf Festival" within the agricultural game "Future Farm Simulator" on the Roblox platform. This event is made possible in collaboration with Maru Mizu-en, a renowned tea garden located in Fuji City, Shizuoka.

The festival invites players to explore the metaverse in search of golden tea leaves, all while learning about the joys of agriculture in a digital realm. Developed jointly with transcosmos Inc. and EbuAction, the festival promises an engaging virtual experience that merges agriculture with cutting-edge web3 technology.

Exploring the Metaverse through Farming

Roblox boasts an impressive daily active user count of over 85.3 million globally, particularly favored by teenagers and young adults. In a virtual space where users can design their own avatars, characters, and items, many well-known brands, sports teams, and influencers have embraced Roblox for branding, promotion, and fan engagement.

"Future Farm Simulator" is designed to offer players a realistic agricultural experience, from planting crops like eggplants and tomatoes to harvesting their produce. It aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for agriculture, particularly among Generation Z, encouraging them to explore sustainable agricultural models.
