Nulab Relocates Headquarters to CIC Fukuoka for Innovation

Nulab's Strategic Move to CIC Fukuoka

Nulab, a company providing project and task management tools such as Backlog, has announced its upcoming relocation of headquarters to CIC Fukuoka, located in Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, effective September 1, 2026. This decision is part of their strategy to reinforce their business foundation in order to foster new product development and overall innovation.

The Reason Behind the Move

Nulab has been growing its existing business while simultaneously focusing on building a knowledge base driven by artificial intelligence. Additionally, they are exploring new business opportunities beyond the traditional Software as a Service (SaaS) domain. To achieve these goals, it's essential for Nulab to not only leverage its own accumulated expertise but also engage with a diverse array of external knowledge and networks on a daily basis.

CIC Fukuoka looks to fulfill this need, serving as the second domestic campus operated by CIC, known for fostering innovation communities worldwide. The facility brings together a melting pot of startups, large corporations, research institutions, government agencies, and investors. By relocating their headquarters to this dynamic environment, Nulab aims to accelerate collaborations that will lead to the creation of new businesses and products.

  • - Relocation Date: September 1, 2026
