Research suggests that a two-person household requires approximately 17 kWh over 72 hours during emergencies (around 5.6 kWh per day). JSC’s planned storage facility, with a rated capacity of about 8 MWh (8,146 kWh), is capable of supplying energy for approximately 470 households over the same period. Such battery storage facilities are anticipated to play a crucial role as part of the regional infrastructure in times of disaster.
