Celebrate the Lineage Update with New Adventures in the Ice Cave

The renowned PC online game, Lineage, operated by NC Japan, has officially announced its latest event starting from August 5, 2026. This update event introduces a limited-time exclusive map known as the Ice Cave, promising exciting opportunities for players to gain experience and exquisite rewards.

Event Details

The Ice Cave will be accessible only to characters at level 75 or above. Players can dive into this unique map during the event period lasting until September 9, 2026. The map offers two distinct hunting zones: one that allows for 30 minutes of regular hunting each day, and a charge-type hunting area that provides special buffs usable for a limited time.

While exploring the Ice Cave, players can encounter various monsters. Defeating these foes grants the chance to earn exclusive event items like the Frozen Treasure Chest. Inside these treasure chests, players may find coveted items including the +7 Extreme Cold Chainsaw, the +7 Ice Queen Staff, and various skill selection boxes, which adds an element of excitement as players hunt for these rare rewards.

In addition, the daily quests introduced during the event will offer players new gameplay experiences. Each day, players can engage with the event NPC, Heyon, to acquire the Ice Cave Invitation (General). Successfully slaying monsters within the Ice Cave will reward players with Ice Pieces. These Ice Pieces can be exchanged with another event NPC, Binsol, for valuable experience points and Ice Crystals. The accumulated Ice Crystals can be traded at an NPC located in Giran Castle Town for even more prizes.
