Starting from September 16, 2025, you can find two new exciting noodle dishes every month at nearly 1,450 stores across Kyushu and the westernmost parts of Yamaguchi Prefecture.

This fair aims to highlight the unique flavors and characteristics of noodle dishes from each Kyushu prefecture, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for local culinary traditions. With cooperation from media outlets in Kyushu and local businesses, this event is set to create a buzz and showcase the vibrant food culture of the region.

What’s on the Menu?

The first offerings to grace the shelves are the 'Take House Supervised Dandan Noodles' priced at ¥536 (tax included: ¥578) and the 'Nakahama Tonkotsu Ramen' at ¥417 (tax included: ¥450). These two delicious creations embody the essence of Kyushu's noodle offerings.

The 'Dandan Noodles', supervised by the renowned Kagoshima Ramen Take House, are an exciting twist featuring a spicy sesame sauce and ridged noodles that boast a chewy texture. Meanwhile, the 'Nakahama Tonkotsu Ramen' is a classic, utilizing rich tonkotsu (pork bone) broth, a staple in Fukuoka's ramen scene.

The Kagoshima Ramen Take House is not just any ramen shop; it's celebrated for its quality and received accolades in the Kagoshima Ramen King Competition. It has been a strong partner with Minami Kyushu FamilyMart since 2019, launching a variety of collaborative products, and this latest offering marks an exciting first for the entire Kyushu region.

The 'Take House Supervised Dandan Noodles' marks the third release from this collaboration in Kagoshima and Miyazaki’s FamilyMarts. Each launch has seen the noodles soar to the top of the category rankings, indicating their popularity. The expertly crafted flavor combines spicy and savory with a distinct bite, reflecting the traditional craftsmanship of ramen chefs.

“Dandan Noodles are based on a robust tonkotsu broth,” says Takeshi Suenaga, the shop owner. “The rich and creamy soup balances spiciness perfectly, adhering to the chewy ridged noodles seamlessly. To enhance the texture, we add nuts, which adds a delightful crunch that our customers, especially women, adore. I am excited for more people around Kyushu to experience our dedicated craft through FamilyMart. We hope those visiting Kagoshima will also stop by our shop!”

Special Promotions and Updates

In tandem with this fair, FamilyMart will offer a delightful promotion: customers who purchase any of the featured noodles alongside Suntory’s Oolong Tea 600ml through the Famipay app will receive a ¥100 equivalent in points. This promotion runs from September 16 to October 13, 2025 and aims to encourage more noodle lovers to enjoy and explore these flavors.

Furthermore, to enhance visibility, FamilyMart will broadcast original promotional videos across its stores in Kyushu to highlight product details and connect with the community effectively. These brief 15-second clips will air multiple times a day from September 16 to September 29.
