Japan's New Grant Program to Enhance Collaborative Logistics
The Japan Management Association Consulting (JMAC) has announced the third round of applications for its subsidy program aimed at enhancing collaborative logistics and freight return efforts. This initiative falls under the auspices of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and is designed to promote efficient logistics through data sharing among various stakeholders. The program specifically targets multiple shippers, logistics providers, and solutions vendors who are interested in using the ‘Logistics Information Standard Guidelines’ to build and operate an open platform for logistics and commercial flow information.
In previous rounds, some businesses were unable to file applications due to preparation constraints. In response, JMAC has launched this third call for applications to encourage more companies to participate. This opportunity is not just for newcomers; it also aims to re-engage those businesses that postponed their applications during the first and second calls.
Program Overview
This funding initiative provides partial subsidies for expenses incurred when businesses collaborate to use standard logistics resources effectively. With the goal of securing shared freight and enhancing transportation and operational management, this project represents a significant step towards increasing logistics efficiency across the board. Entities interested in applying can find detailed guidelines and application forms on the program's special website:
