First Bank has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the community by completing its successful 2nd annual company-wide food drive. In total, employees, customers, and friends from over 110 First Bank locations came together to collect an impressive 21,750 pounds of food, benefitting more than 90 local agencies and organizations that assist families in need.
The Power of Good Food Drive took place from November 1 to November 30 and was dedicated to the memory of Sharon Shaw Adams, a beloved First Bank associate who passed away in January 2023. Sharon was known for her relentless efforts to combat food insecurity and was honored as a Service Excellence champion – the highest distinction in First Bank's culture for employees who exemplify exceptional service. Through this drive, First Bank not only remembers Sharon's legacy but also carries forward her spirit of selflessness and commitment to alleviating hunger in the community.
