Fukuoka Growth Night in Tokyo: High Growth Program Demo Day
The highly anticipated event, "Fukuoka Growth Night in Tokyo - High Growth Program Demo Day," organized by Fukuoka Growth Next (FGN), will take place on January 30, 2026. This exciting event will be hosted at the offices of Four Startups, located in the prestigious Mori JP Tower in Azabudai, Tokyo, from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Overview of the High Growth Program
The High Growth Program is designed to support the growth of startups originating from Fukuoka by assisting them with critical aspects such as fundraising, business partnership opportunities, and management challenges. In the fiscal year 2025, 12 selected startups will tackle pressing societal issues in fields including carbon neutrality, AI, health, smart agriculture, disaster prevention, infrastructure DX, real estate, and food and beverage innovations.
This year’s Demo Day aims to address the need for connecting selected startups with investors and businesses from the Tokyo metropolitan area. The participating companies are ready to progress to their next stage of growth, and the event focuses on creating an environment for direct interaction with key decision-makers in the capital region to expand opportunities for collaboration and business.

Those who apply for attendance will be asked to provide information about their affiliations, and if deemed inconsistent with the event's purpose, the organization may direct them to view the event online.
Significance of the Event
The growth of startups necessitates multiple factors operating simultaneously, including development, recruitment, business collaborations, and fundraising. There is a recognized shortage of connections with Tokyo investors and corporates for startups based in regional cities. FGN is committed to designing external connections appropriate for each phase of a startup's business, and this event represents a significant step in that direction.
Many participating companies are engaged in areas of high social demand, such as the shift towards carbon neutrality, AI integration, addressing labor shortages, and ensuring stable food supply. The need for support from both the public and private sectors is crucial in these fields. This event is intended to facilitate opportunities for startups to connect with society at optimal timing.
Event Flow
On the event day, there will be a networking session prior to the Demo Day, allowing investors and corporate representatives to have short discussions with selected startups. Participants who registered via a matching system will engage in brief one-on-one meetings with startups prior to the presentations. After the opening, where the High Growth Program's overview will be provided, attendees will enjoy pitches from the 12 selected companies. Following the pitches, there will also be time allocated for networking.
Pre-Matching System
To ensure smooth communication between the startups and participating investors and businesses, a pre-matching system will be provided for attendees. By registering in advance, participants can make the most of the business opportunities available during the event. The pre-matching system will be accessible through the event's special website where attendees can register.
