The star of the dish is the homemade tofu, made solely with Toyomasari soybeans, which are renowned for being a top-grade soybean variety harvested primarily in the Tokachi region of Hokkaido. This exclusive tofu, combined with an original sundubu soup featuring its special tategi (a spicy seasoning) and pureed vegetables, guarantees a rich and savory taste.

The Mapo Tofu is prepared with a perfect balance of spicy mala sauce, gochujang, and flower pepper, igniting a kick of heat complemented by the deep umami flavor from the tofu. You will be able to enjoy this dish in two styles:
