Join the Free Webinar Week by Izumi Consulting in November 2025

Izumi Consulting, renowned for its consulting services in energy-saving calculations, environmental certification, disaster prevention, and BIM, is set to host its much-anticipated "November 2025 Webinar Week" from November 17 (Monday) to November 21 (Friday). This event will provide an excellent opportunity for professionals engaged in architectural design to gain valuable insights at no cost.

What to Expect

During this five-day online seminar series, participants can attend 14 comprehensive sessions covering critical industry topics such as energy-saving calculations, evacuation safety validations, and environmentally-friendly certifications like CASBEE and LEED. These seminars will be conducted via Zoom and are tailored specifically for design practitioners. Notably, the seminars related to architecture and disaster prevention align with the architectural CPD information provision system, although BIM-focused and special lectures are excluded from CPD eligibility.

This year's event also introduces an exciting new seminar focusing on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for buildings. As the construction sector's carbon neutrality emerges as a pressing international concern, the LCA discussion will revolve around the regulatory developments, evaluation frameworks, and calculation methods crucial to this topic.

Special Guest Lectures

On November 20 (Thursday), a special lecture will feature prominent speakers, including Takashi Horie, President of CSR Design Environmental Investment Advisors, and Tetsuya Hirayama, Assistant Director in the Housing Bureau at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. They will present on the theme of "Rehabilitation and Distribution of Building Stock Towards Net Zero." This session will explore how existing buildings can create environmental value during renovation and distribution, contributing to economic feasibility in the market.

Highlights of the Special Lecture

  • - Topic: Rehabilitation and Distribution of Building Stock Towards Net Zero
  • - Focus: The increasing importance of utilizing existing buildings for achieving net zero (net greenhouse gas emissions of zero) goals. Hence, creating environmental value through renovation, rehabilitation and distribution in line with regulatory improvements and investment evaluations is essential. Key insights will illuminate national policy trends and global investment and renovation currents, delivering significant discussions among speakers and participants alike, sharing challenges and outlooks for the future.
