As the construction sector's carbon neutrality emerges as a pressing international concern, the LCA discussion will revolve around the regulatory developments, evaluation frameworks, and calculation methods crucial to this topic.

On November 20 (Thursday), a special lecture will feature prominent speakers, including Takashi Horie, President of CSR Design Environmental Investment Advisors, and Tetsuya Hirayama, Assistant Director in the Housing Bureau at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. They will present on the theme of "Rehabilitation and Distribution of Building Stock Towards Net Zero." This session will explore how existing buildings can create environmental value during renovation and distribution, contributing to economic feasibility in the market.
