Introduction
On March 4, 2026, Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE) showcased its latest innovation, the STAR H-PLUS outdoor liquid-cooled energy storage system, at KEY ENERGY 2026 in Rimini, Italy. This product demonstrates CNTE's commitment to performance, safety, and lifecycle value in outdoor energy storage solutions, reflecting a progressive step towards sustainable energy management.
STAR H-PLUS Overview
The STAR H-PLUS system is an integrated energy storage solution boasting a capacity of 125 kW and 254 kWh. It is specifically engineered to accommodate evolving global demands for energy storage, incorporating an intelligent thermal management system, high energy density, and simplified operation. With a density of 83.6 kWh/m³, up to 14 units, equating to 3.56 MWh, can be housed within a standard 40-foot container, thus significantly reducing both transportation and storage costs.
Maintenance and Operation
Designed with user accessibility in mind, the STAR H-PLUS simplifies maintenance tasks through a user-friendly interface. Facilitated by a one-button start/stop feature, rapid commissioning is made possible. Additionally, a lightweight configuration tool replaces traditional software utilities, while rear access to service points and quick-connect features minimize downtime during maintenance tasks. The innovative liquid cooling system automatically refills coolant and features a gas detection system that operates maintenance-free for up to ten years, contributing to lower operating costs.
Silent and Intelligent Operation
Operating under full load, the STAR H-PLUS system emits a mere 65 dB, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments. Its AI-driven adaptive temperature control ensures that cell deviations remain at or below 3 °C, enhancing longevity and stability even in extreme conditions.
High Performance Features
The STAR H-PLUS is powered by CATL’s LFP 306 Ah cells, boasting a lifespan of over 10,000 cycles. It ensures an energy efficiency exceeding 88% on charge and discharge cycles. For tailored project requirements, optional 314 Ah cells are available. The system's design allows for parallel operation of up to ten units, enabling a combined energy output of 2.54 MWh. Quick frequency regulation, with a response time under 200 ms, is facilitated via an STS transfer switch, ensuring seamless transitions between grid-tied and off-grid operations for uninterrupted power supply.
Global Certification and Readiness
The STAR H-PLUS system meets the grid requirements across 45 countries and holds IEC and UN38.3 certifications, confirming its reliability for international deployment. These certifications reflect CNTE’s adherence to stringent safety and performance standards, creating confidence in its application around the world.
